Emily Cobb serves as the Executive Assistant to Agency Principal Matthew Cobb at Avanti Insurance Agency, where she plays an important role in supporting agency operations, marketing initiatives, client experience, and organizational efficiency. Known for her caring personality, attention to detail, and positive attitude, Emily helps ensure the agency continues to provide exceptional service to clients throughout Michigan.
Emily combines administrative leadership with a strong background in marketing and communications. She earned her degree from Olivet University and later completed a Digital Marketing Certification through Columbia University Business School, further strengthening her expertise in branding, communication strategy, and digital engagement. Her education and professional skills help support Avanti Insurance Agency’s continued growth and community presence.
In her role, Emily assists with a variety of operational and organizational responsibilities while also supporting marketing and client communication efforts across the agency. Her ability to connect with people and create welcoming experiences reflects the agency’s commitment to relationship-driven service.
Outside of work, Emily resides in Grandville, Michigan with her husband, Matt, their two cats, Henry and Teddy, and their Goldendoodle, Arrow, who also serves as the beloved mascot of Avanti Insurance Agency. Emily has a passion for animals and enjoys volunteering with animal shelters and rescue organizations throughout the community. She also enjoys reading and is known for her fun-spirited and compassionate personality.
Emily also loves traveling, especially visiting New York City and going on cruises with family and friends. Her love for travel, community, and creating meaningful connections reflects the welcoming and relationship-focused culture of Avanti Insurance Agency.
Emily and her husband are active members of Trinity Baptist Church, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
