Belmont, MI –

Avanti Insurance Agency has been appointed and contracted with Zing Health and is now authorized to offer Zing Health Medicare Advantage plans to its clients beginning with the 2027 Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). AEP runs October 15 through December 7, 2026, for coverage effective January 1, 2027. The appointment adds Zing Health’s Medicare Advantage portfolio to Avanti Insurance Agency’s roster of carriers.

Through the new appointment, Avanti Insurance Agency can present Zing Health’s HMO, PPO, and Chronic Special Needs Plan (C-SNP) options to Medicare-eligible clients in the markets Zing Health serves, including Michigan. Clients and prospective clients can now review Zing Health plan options and enroll through Avanti Insurance Agency during the upcoming Annual Enrollment Period.

Avanti Insurance Agency will be able to add Zing Health’s Medicare Advantage plans to the side-by-side comparisons it already offers across its carrier portfolio. This gives clients another option to weigh during AEP 2027, particularly those managing chronic conditions or looking for supplemental benefits beyond Original Medicare.

Zing Health plans available through Avanti Insurance Agency include:

  • HMO plans — coordinated, network-based care designed to reduce out-of-pocket costs.
  • PPO plans — out-of-network provider access with competitive maximum out-of-pocket limits.
  • Chronic Special Needs Plans (C-SNP) — tailored for members managing cardiovascular disease, heart failure, kidney disease, diabetes, or other metabolic conditions, with dedicated care manager support.
About Zing Health

Zing Health is a physician-founded Medicare Advantage insurer established in 2019 by Eric E. Whitaker, MD, MPH, and Kenneth Alleyne, MD, alongside Health2047 and executive Garfield Collins. The company began serving Medicare beneficiaries in Cook County, Illinois, in 2020 and has since expanded across select counties in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio, and Tennessee. Zing Health’s model centers on primary care and includes nurse care managers, behavioral health clinicians, and social workers who connect members to community resources, reflecting the company’s focus on the social determinants of health that influence clinical outcomes. In 2024, Zing Health raised $140 million in funding, led in part by Health2047 Capital Partners, CRG, and First Trust Capital Partners, to expand access to its chronic-condition-focused Medicare Advantage plans.
